Kara Frei, Author
Kara Frei is a lifelong storyteller with a passion for words, character, and the heart of a good plot. A graduate of Dakota Wesleyan University, she earned her degree in secondary English education and went on to teach both middle school and high school English. During her teaching career, she was honored as the 2007 South Dakota Council of Teachers of English Young Leader, the 2008–2009 Wagner Community School Teacher of the Year, and the 2009-2010 South Dakota VFW High School Teacher of the Year—recognition that reflects her dedication to students and her love for literature.
Now living in the Midwest with her husband and their three children, Kara divides her time between writing, reading, horseback riding, boating, traveling, and enjoying time with family!
